General informations:

Acrylic acid-maleic acid copolymer, sodium salt belongs to the group of polycarboxylates and is based on the copolymers of acrylic acid and maleic anhydride. It is frequently used in institutional and industrial cleaning processes, household cleaners such as detergents, dishwashing detergents, and various hard surface cleaners. Its main function is to prevent scale buildup and enhance cleaning performance. It has the ability to disperse sediments (e.g., calcium carbonate), helping prevent them from growing into larger crystals and surface deposits. Thanks to this property, its addition also increases the effectiveness of surfactants in hard water (increasing cleaning performance).

STORAGE

Acrylic acid-maleic acid copolymer, sodium salt should be stored in a tightly sealed container in a covered place at a temperature of up to 30 °C. Below 0 °C, the product solidifies, but after slow warming and stirring it returns to its original form without any change in its properties.
